Showerlabs was born from a curiosity: What’s in the water we shower in – and does it make sense to filter it? We began looking more closely at substances like limescale, PFAS, and pesticides, and how they show up in ordinary tap water. Denmark is known for high water quality, but news reports often highlight substances that still end up in the water.
In our search for knowledge, we attended water technology conferences and spoke with filtration experts from many different countries. This gave us insight into how various solutions work – and why filtering makes sense, even in a regular shower. Based on that, we now offer a showerhead with a built-in filter that helps reduce unwanted substances in the water while also protecting skin and hair from daily exposure to limescale and other impurities.
